"Faith does not make things easy, it makes them possible."  --Luke 1:37
WHO WE ARE:
We are a congregation with a strong membership who join together in fellowship to serve Jesus.
OUR HISTORY:
  • The Church began in 1887 when Rev. J.A. High was the preacher and Church was held in a one room school house west of the current Church.
  • In June of 1891, a decision was made to build a Church Building at a cost of $1,600.  The building was finished in 1892.  Rev. Mr. Luce was the pastor.
  • In 1913, due to the size of the congregations growth a decision to build a new Church (current Church).  The Church building was erected during the pastorate of Rev. Mr. McKenzie.
  • In 2011, due to deteriorating building conditions the church membership decided to begin searching for means of financing a new building.
  • In 2015 under the guidance of Pastor Kyle Nelson, an "official" Building Campaign was launched to raise funds for a new church building.  Through years of several years of hard work and sacrifices, the members & friends of the church were able to finally breakground in 2018.
  • The new building located on the corner of Ericson & Nebraska Streets was finished by General Contractor Otte Construction.
  • August 11, 2019 the first church service was held in the new building.
  • October 13, 2019 the church was consecrated under the direction of Pastor Nick Baker & District Superintendent Nancy Tomlinson.
